Austin, Texas-based Capson Physicians Insurance Co., a national medical malpractice insurer, announced that Frank Coppersmith has joined the company as senior vice president responsible for technology and strategic partnerships.
Coppersmith has more than 22 years of experience in the technology industry, most recently as chief operating officer of GameSalad, a tool for mobile application development. Previously, he served as vice president, finance and administration for Challenge Online Games, a venture-backed startup later sold to Zynga, and as general counsel to Toppan Photomasks, a worldwide manufacturer of semiconductor materials.
