Oklahoma Insurance Commissioner John D. Doak is hosting a consumer assistance event to help tornado survivors with their insurance claims and inform them of important tax information, including possible deductions, the state insurance department announced.
Doak, along with Todd Pefferman, CPA; and legal, consumer assistance and anti-fraud experts from the Oklahoma Insurance Department will attend.
The forum takes place Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014, at 6:30 p.m. at the Moore Public Library, 225 S. Howard Ave., in Moore, Okla.
The forum is co-hosted by the Moore Public Library, which requests that attendees register by calling (405) 793-4349.
