The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) has named Sarah Conway executive director of its Texas/Southeast Division, headquartered in Dallas.
Conway will be responsible for leading the IICF’s charitable and philanthropic initiatives in the region, which include the local nonprofit grant programs, as well as the running of the division’s annual slate of fundraising, volunteer and networking events.
Conway joins the IICF with a wealth of experience in nonprofit organization management in the Dallas area. Most recently, she served as a development officer with the Children’s Medical Center of Dallas, one of the largest not-for-profit pediatric healthcare systems in the country. In addition, Conway is the founding board chairman of “The One” Society, a 501(c)(3) organization that engages local young professionals in community involvement.
Conway succeeds Carol Mason as the executive director of the IICF’s Texas/Southeast Division.
Founded in 2012, the IICF’s Texas/Southeast Division serves Texas and the Southeast region of the U.S. Every year, the Division awards local grants to regional nonprofits focusing on Children, Education, and Veterans issues. In 2014, the Texas/Southeast Division awarded $286,000 in grants to 13 regional charitable organizations.
