Austin, Texas, police say they are investigating nearly 40 nighttime burglaries in which more than 115 “high end” bicycles were stolen from garages.
Police say one suspect, whose image was captured on a homeowner’s surveillance camera, is responsible for multiple burglaries. They are seeking the public’s help in finding the man.
Members of the Austin bike community are offering a $3,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. Austin Crime Stoppers is offering an additional $1,000.
Police say the stolen bikes are worth between $350,000 and $400,000.
