De Miller, principal of the Donald E. Miller Agency Ltd. in San Antonio, is joining Houston-based Wortham L.L.C. as a managing director on Jan. 1, 2015, under a letter of intent executed with Wortham Insurance & Risk Management.
The Donald E. Miller Agency was founded in 1974 and specializes in property and casualty insurance, including surety and other services for the construction industry. The agency also answers the insurance challenges of high net worth individuals.
Miller is a graduate of Texas Christian University and a member of the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors. A native of San Antonio, he plays an active role in a number civic and charitable organizations and currently serves as King Antonio XCII of The Texas Cavaliers, which has provided millions of dollars to support children’s charities in San Antonio.
In addition to its headquarters in Houston, Wortham maintains offices in Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth and San Antonio.
