Texas-based workers’ compensation insurer, Service Lloyds Insurance Co., has added Todd Richardson as the business development manager in its Underwriting unit.
He is responsible for the overall leadership of the underwriting operation, including the development and implementation of underwriting agency plant production goals and procedures designed to enhance company results and relationships with policyholders and agents.
Richardson has more than 28 years of insurance experience building on his educational background of a degree in business administration and finance. He holds the the CPCU and CIC insurance designations.

Since starting his career in 1988, Richardson has served in various managerial capacities, including regional commercial lines manager, regional middle market vice president, middle market sales underwriter and claims supervisor. His industry experience includes affiliations with Foremost Insurance Co., Great American Insurance Co., The Hartford and State Auto.
