Oklahoma City-based INSURICA and Amarillo, Texas-based DFB Insurance Group have combined to form INSURICA DFB Insurance Services LLC.
The new entity will be jointly owned by INSURICA and DFB. The transaction, effective Jan. 1, 2017, will grow INSURICA’s revenues to nearly $100 million. With the addition of DFB, INSURICA will place more than $1 billion in premiums for their clients annually.
DFB Insurance Group was formed with the merger of the Duncan, Fraser and Bridges agencies 20 years ago.
With the merger, INSURICA will have over 500 employees in 31 offices located throughout Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Colorado, Arizona, and California. Texas offices will represent nearly one-third of all locations.
