Oklahoma has a new vendor for licensing exams for insurance professionals and bail bondsman.
The Oklahoma Insurance Department (OID) reported that Prometric will develop and deliver exam content for all of OID’s statewide licensing examinations.
Oklahoma requires insurance professionals and bail bondsmen to hold a license and passing the exam is a start. Testing will be delivered on Prometric’s secure, computer-based testing network that reliably assesses an individual’s relevant knowledge, the department said.
Licensing candidates will notice some slight changes to the scheduling and registration process, but exams and exam content outlines are not changing.
The department said the licensing process features:
- Easy-to-follow instructions and instant access to test preparation resources
- Conveniently-located, secure testing centers
- A user-friendly test interface featuring the latest in web-based navigation tools and larger screen displays.
The change in vendors was effective May 1.
