Alera Group, a national employee benefits, property/casualty, risk management and wealth management firm based in Deerfield, Illinois, has acquired Benefit Plan Strategies (BPS), headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Alera Group’s announcement said BPS utilizes innovative technologies to provide each client with interactive solutions for group benefit requirements. The expert team at BPS provides products and services that allow employers to increase profitability, manage company culture and improve the lives of their employees.
Alera also announced the acquisition of three other agencies: Dickerson Employee Benefits Inc., in Los Angeles; Courtney Group, in Highland Park, Illinois; and Strategic Employee Benefit Services of Pittsburgh (SEBS), in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
These acquisitions, effective May 1, expand Alera Group to more than 65 locations nationwide.
Terms of the transactions were not announced.
