WNC Insurance Services Inc. has appointed Eric Wurmser as president of its Lender-Placed Insurance Division. He is based in Dallas.
In his role, Wurmser is responsible for the design and delivery of WNC’s insurance products and services to financial institutions, including lender-placed hazard, flood, wind and real estate-owned insurance, collateral protection insurance, guaranteed asset protection and related outsourcing solutions.
Prior to joining WNC, Wurmser spent more than 16 years with multiple providers in the lender-placed insurance industry, serving in several senior leadership roles that spanned across operations, finance and product. Most recently, he served as executive vice president of Product & Finance at SWBC in San Antonio, Texas, where he had profit and loss (P&L) responsibility over all insurance products sold within the financial institution space.
Founded in 1962, WNC is a wholly owned company of Tokio Marine Kiln,a carrier in the Lloyd’s of London insurance market and a member of the Tokio Marine Group. WNC has corporate offices in South Pasadena, Calif., and Chicago, Ill., and operating centers in Dallas, Texas, Naperville, Ill., and Miami, Fla.
