Kori Johanson JD has been named to the Surplus Lines Stamping Office of Texas (SLTX) board of directors as an industry representative with a term ending Dec. 31, 2022.
She assumes the vacancy of previous board member Kyle Streetman, whose three-year term ended on Dec. 31, 2019.
Johanson currently serves as global chief compliance officer and corporate senior vice president of H.W. Kaufman Group in the company’s Farmington Hills, Michigan, headquarters. In this role, she supervises the organization’s compliance team and oversees corporate and regulatory compliance.

Prior to this position, she was vice president, associate general counsel, of the PURE Group of Insurance Companies in the greater New York City area.
In addition to her role as a member of the SLTX board, Johanson currently serves on the Wholesale & Specialty Insurance Association (WSIA) Legislative Committee. She has also previously served as a Board Member for the National Council of Insurance Legislators (NCOIL) Industry Education Council and as an Advisory Council Member for the NCOIL International Issues Task Force.
