Oklahoma Senate President Pro Tempore Greg Treat, a Republican, has appointed Senator Marty Quinn, R-Claremore, chair of the Senate Retirement and Insurance Committee.
Other Republican members appointed to the committee are:
- Senator John Michael Montgomery, R-Lawton, vice chair
- Senator Warren Hamilton, R-McCurtain
- Senator Shane Jett, R-Shawnee
- Senator Joe Newhouse, R-Broken Arrow
- Senator Brenda Stanley, R-Midwest City
- Senator Zack Taylor, R-Seminole
The Democrats appointed to the committee are:
- Senator Kevin Matthews, D-Tulsa
- Senator Michael Brooks, D-Oklahoma City
Committee chairs, vice chairs and committee membership will be voted upon by the full Senate on Organizational Day — Jan. 5, 2021.
