October 9, 2003

Express Tax Service, Inc., a Jacksonville, Fla.-based franchise company, has signed an agreement to offer tax services through the members of the National Association of Professional Allstate Agents (NAPAA). NAPAA is comprised of 2000 plus professional Allstate Independent Contractor Agents.

The agreement will allow the members of NAPAA to offer tax preparation and related services to the public through either the EXPRESSTAX® franchise opportunity or the EXPRESSTAX® Quick File program.

Robert Kluba, president and founder of Express Tax Service, Inc., commented on the agreement by saying, “This relationship (with NAPAA) is an ideal fit for both of our organizations. Our company’s primary focus is to assist business owners who want to expand their current portfolio of services. We focus on entrepreneurial individuals who see the benefit of adding a service that every American needs, income tax preparation. The agents who are members of this association are a perfect fit for our programs and we look forward to a long and prosperous relationship.”

Steve Boone, president of NAPAA’s management company (Global Media Group), added, “We have been looking for something like this for a while. Our agreement with Express Tax Service, Inc., will allow NAPAA to offer an additional source of revenue to participating Allstate Agents. At the same time, this tax service will complement the Agents’ efforts to bring in new insurance customers for Allstate property, casualty and financial products.”
