Franzese Named V.P., Branch Manager of Burns & Wilcox Tampa, Fla. Office

Burns & Wilcox, a national specialty insurance wholesaler, underwriter and managing general agent headquartered in Farmington Hills, Mich. has appointed Michael Franzese vice president, branch manager of its Tampa, Fla. office. The appointment was announced by Alan Jay Kaufman, chairman, president and CEO.

As vice president/branch manager, Franzese is responsible for managing underwriting, marketing and team development of the Burns & Wilcox Tampa office.

Franzese has more than 20 years of insurance experience in management, marketing and placing business across all commercial lines. His brokerage expertise includes property, general liability and umbrella in addition to large, complex property and casualty accounts.

Franzese most recently served as senior vice president with Stewart Smith Southeast Inc. in Tampa for 11 years, and in executive positions with Franzese & Associates in Hollywood, Fla.
