Beazley Group plc announced that Orville Lewis is joining the company to establish a new underwriting practice focusing on U.S. transportation risks.
Lewis brings to Beazley extensive experience of underwriting transportation risks on both an admitted and a non-admitted basis, working at U.S. domiciled insurance companies as well as managing general agencies specializing in these risks. Under his direction, Beazley will underwrite fire, theft and collision (FTC) and motor truck cargo (MTC) risks for transportation clients nationwide.
Lewis will be based in Beazley’s Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida office.
