The opening of a Charlotte, N.C. branch office and the assignment of Rich Abraham as its branch manager has been announced by ACE USA of Philadelphia, the U.S.-based retail operating division of the ACE Group of Companies.
Abraham will work closely with brokers and clients in North Carolina and South Carolina to cultivate relationships and expand ACE USA’s local presence. He also will oversee the branch’s production plan, distribution, product sales and marketing and general operations.
“Delivering exceptional service through locally-based staff is an important part of our regional management strategy,” Rob Huber, ACE USA Southeast regional executive officer said. “We believe there are tremendous growth opportunities in the Carolinas, and our new branch office will help us to maintain ongoing communication with our brokers and clients in the region and better understand their needs.
“Abraham has a solid background in the insurance industry and a deep knowledge of local marketplace, making him well-suited to lead ACE USA’s growth in this important region.”
Abraham has 26 years experience in the insurance industry in marketing, underwriting and management. Prior to joining ACE, Abraham spent six years as branch vice president of The PMA Insurance Group’s Carolinas operation. Additional experience includes 19 years with The Hartford. Abraham is past-president of the Charlotte Chapter of the CPCU Society.
