Graham Named Summit’s Southeast Region Director of Sales

Summit, a provider of workers’ compensation insurance services in the southeastern United States, announced that Francis “Fran” Graham joined the company as the new Southeast Region director of sales. In this new position, he will oversee Summit’s sales force in Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.

Summit said it now works with more than 500 independent agents in its Southeast Region and is continuing to expand. Graham’s proven expertise in the industry will help in this endeavor.

Originally from upstate New York, Graham spent 31 years with Virginia’s Utica National Insurance, eventually serving as their regional vice president, responsible for marketing, underwriting, claims and policy issuance. In 2004, he became the territory manager for Montgomery Insurance in Virginia.

Summit — which includes Summit Consulting Inc., and Summit Holding Southeast Inc., and their affiliates — has offices in Lakeland, Fla.; Baton Rouge, La.; and Gainesville, Ga. It is part of Liberty Mutual Agency Markets, a business unit of Liberty Mutual Group, which consists of property and casualty, and specialty insurance carriers that distribute their products and services primarily through independent agents and brokers. Summit offers workers’ compensation products and services to more than 35,000 businesses in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
