John T. Hill has been elected to the 2006 board of directors of the National Council on Compensation Insurance Holdings in Boca Raton, Fla. according to Gary Thompson, chair of the 2006 NCCI board and senior vice president of The Hartford.
“NCCI has benefited tremendously from the market knowledge and experience of our board members as we identify and pursue our strategic business goals,” Stephen Klingel, NCCI president and CEO said. “Hill is an outstanding addition to our very capable board, and we look forward to his important contributions to NCCI’s success during 2006.”
Hill is the president and chief operating officer of Magna Carta Co.’s. Prior to joining Magna Carta in 1995, Hill spent 14 years with the Home Insurance Co., where he served in a variety of financial and executive management roles. In addition to serving on the Magna Carta board, he also serves on the board of directors of the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies, the Insurance Federation of New York, and is an advisory board member for the National Insurance Industry Association.
