Owner and operator of West Virginia Concrete Coating and Design in Harrison County pleaded guilty to a felony county of failure to subscribe to the former Workers’ Compensation Commission.
Business owner Susan Boram was indicted Aug. 2 on one felony count for operating a business without workers’ compensation insurance and one felony count of filing a false report with the former Workers’ Compensation Commission.
In exchange for the plea, the State agreed to drop the felony charge of filing a false report with the former Workers’ Compensation Commission. She faces one to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000. Sentencing is set for November 2, 2007.
