North Carolina Insurance Department enforcement officials arrested three Jacksonville women on charges stemming from allegations that they were involved in a drunk driving accident and falsified an auto insurance claim worth almost $3,600.
Kathleen Ann Schuckers, 55, was arrested for one count of insurance fraud and one count of felony conspiracy to commit insurance fraud; she was released under $4,000 unsecured bond.
Kimberly Lou Nyman, 50, and Rhonda Pauline Rhodes, 44, were each arrested for one count of felony conspiracy to commit insurance fraud and were also released under $ 4,000 unsecured bonds.
The trio was arrested by Department of Insurance investigators, with assistance from the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office, on Oct. 25.
