R.K. Wallace Construction Inc., of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, would pay a $72,000 fine under a proposal by the Occupational Health and Safety Administration.
OSHA cited the company, doing business as Wallace Steel Erectors, with three repeat safety violations.
The company, based in Lawrence County, Miss., allegedly failed to protect employees from fall hazards at a Covington, La., work site.
An OSHA investigation found the company failed to provide workers with fall hazard equipment, did not provide training and did not ensure that a scaffold platform used to lift workers was secure.
