Mississippi state troopers, police officers and sheriff’s deputies are teaming up for a new program aimed at reducing drunk driving.
The Mississippi Department of Public Safety is calling the program “Over the Limit. Under Arrest.”
Officers will be stepping up enforcement through Labor Day at the beginning of September.
Representatives from several law enforcement agencies were scheduled to gather in Jackson Aug. 12 for a news conference to launch the campaign.
