Keystone Insurers Group (KIG) is continuing its expansion in Kentucky. The company announced it has added Rowland Insurance and Rudd Insurance to its growing list of partner agencies in Kentucky.
These two firms join KIG’s network of more than 200 independent agencies in six states and increase to 13 the number of KIG partners in Kentucky.
Rowland Insurance Agency Inc., with locations in Tompkinsville and Glasgow, was founded in 1910.
Rudd Insurance Inc. is located in Madisonville. Established in 1925, the agency is owned by Allen Rudd, Bob Werner and Tim Quinn.
Founded in 1983 and headquartered in Northumberland, Pa., KIG is owned by its employees and franchise partners in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia, Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky. Each partner is an independent agency. With property/casualty premiums exceeding $1 billion, KIG is ranked sixth on Insurance Journal’s 2009 list of Top 100 Privately-Held Property/Casualty Agencies.
