My Mom was in her early 80’s when she renewed her license for the last time. While she was waiting in line she realized she had left her glasses in the car. Rather than lose her place in line she listened closely to the other applicants reading the eye chart. She memorized the letters and aced the test even though she couldn’t read any of the rows of letters.

Crafty old ladies can beat the system almost every time.

BTW, after she died a large number of speeding tickets came to light. All unpaid of course.

ok, so she could memorize letters from listening… and possibly read letters on a sign, but could not quite make out digits for the speed limits either on the sign or her odometer.. (LOL)

i guess you can say even our elders, can do tricks!
