Global insurance loss adjuster McLarens Young International is merging with aviation loss adjuster Airclaims of the United Kingdom.
While both companies will continue to operate under their own brands, Airclaims will become a fully owned entity operating within the McLarens Young International group, which is based in Atlanta.
San Francisco-based Altamont Capital Partners provided capital for the transaction. McLarens is the firm’s third investment from its inaugural investment fund. The merger includes the full purchase of shares from Private Equity firm LDC, the largest single shareholder in Airclaims since backing an management buyout in 2005.
