Investigators in Georgia said 23 cars were damaged as high winds fueled a fire that spread to a car lot north of Atlanta.
WSB-TV reported that firefighters discovered the flames at US Auto Sales in Forsyth County Sunday afternoon.
Fire officials said the blaze melted away paint, broke out windows and left burned-out shells of cars on the used car lot on Atlanta Highway in the Cumming area.
Forsyth County fire investigators said that strong and steady winds fanned the flames and threatened the surrounding area.
Lt. Debbie Lindstrom said fire officials are still investigating the cause of the blaze.
