Insurance broker and consultant NFP has expanded its P&C capabilities and added to its employee benefits operation by acquiring Trinity Consulting. The transaction closed on March 3, 2015.
A large risk management and regional employee benefits firm based in Charlotte, N.C., Trinity has provided consulting and brokerage services to corporate clients since 2001. In addition to its P&C offerings, the firm offers a full suite of employee benefits solutions.
Trinity President and Chief Executive Officer Alan Wise and Chief Operating Officer Harry Floyd have transitioned to the roles of managing director for the NFP Southeast region, led by Christi and Will Byron, where they will work closely with Terrence Scali, executive vice president and chief executive officer, NFP Property & Casualty.
According to Christi Byron, Trinity’s P&C and employee benefits resources give NFP the opportunity to enhance multiple service offerings at one time.
