We need a insurance commissioner that listens. Our insurance rates are horrible. Was just told that my homeowners insurance will go up about $200.00 in November. I have NEVER had a claim. We need a commissioner that puts a low ceiling on these rates. I am retired and it hurts. At what point are you no longer able to afford insurance. Something is just not right with this…..I am not stopping here I am getting ready to be a regular caller to our political figures. Feeling frustrated….

Could someone have mercy on those who do not have accidents or get tickets? Why do we have to suffer and have our rates rise like the individuals who do get tickets and have accidents? I know being a Commissioner should have some benefits or input in the rate hikes and not go on whatever the insurance companies say. Of course the insurance companies will say they are not making any money because of claims they’re paying out. But, that is what they do.
SOMEONE has to look out for the consumers/voters, that’s why we put our TRUST in who we vote for.

Why on earth RESPONSIBLE homeowners/drivers are being punished with others’ recklessness in paying ENORMOUS ANNUAL PREMIUM INCREASE❗️😡

You politicians, once elected NEVER THINK OF YOUR CONSTITUENTS! Why not take the drivers licenses of those who will get into an accident because of BEING DISTRACTED i.e. USING PHONES/ANY MEDIA WHILE DRIVING❗️Also, those who cannot follow traffic rules and regulations plus NO CONSIDERATION IN OBSERVING COURTESY TO OTHER DRIVERS❗️Yes, exclamation point and not question mark is what I used here to show how frustrating it feels that we, taxpayers get from elected officials!

When do we vet the next people in line who wish to take the post of Georgia’s Insurance Commissioner?

As a senior citizen on fixed income, the increase of homeowners and vehicle insurance should be capped. The yearly increase is not necessary. We should not have to worry whether or not to insure property. I am sure this could be fixed with effort from our elected officials.
