Lockton’s Southeast team has appointed Cheryl Jennings as the new Southeast Commercial Insurance Department (CID) practice leader. Jennings joins Lockton after a 35-year career with Marsh, Chubb, Hartford and most recently Wells Fargo Insurance Services.
In addition to her 25-year career with Marsh, she worked on property and casualty underwriting with Chubb and Hartford where she held leadership positions. Jennings will work with leadership to develop strategies for commercial insurance growth as Lockton continues to expand in the Southeast.
Additionally, she will mentor and develop associates as they handle client relationships and progress in their own careers. Jennings will also manage carrier relationships and stay current on the latest market trends.
She will be based in Lockton’s Atlanta office, but will serve as the leader for commercial insurance for the Southeast series which encompasses offices in Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas.
