Prime Risk Partners announced that Robert C. Smith has joined the company as executive vice president and chief operating officer.
Smith’s career has focused on agency operations consulting and mergers and acquisitions. As a senior consultant and shareholder with Reagan Consulting, he was part of the team that initially developed the Reagan/IIABA Best Practices Study and worked with Assurex Global and CIAB in the initial development and implementation of the E&O Plus Quality Management Program.
He has participated as an intermediary in more than 50 agency acquisitions – on both the buyer and seller sides – and completed more than 300 consulting assignments with many of the leading agencies in the country. He most recently served as the chief operating officer of a Southwest regional firm.
Prime Risk Partners said it is building a national insurance distribution platform through selective acquisitions, strategic new hires, and excellence in operations. The company is headquartered in Atlanta.
