Trinity Underwriting Managers (TUMI), a division of Worldwide Facilities, has added Bill Acevedo as claims manager and Nick Blankenship as broker. The two will be based in its offices in Savannah, Ga.
Acevedo, a former Marine, brings over 30 years of experience to his newly-created position, including positions at York Risk Services, Crum & Forster, The Home Insurance Company, and Zurich American Insurance Group.
Acevedo said his goal is to establish a bridge between the underwriting team and the claims professionals, and will work directly with TUMI’s TPA partners.
Blankenship, also a former Marine, previously served as senior underwriter for ProSight Specialty Insurance. While there, he managed a portfolio of transportation and public auto risk. Prior to that, he served as an underwriter in the transportation practice group of State Auto Insurance Co.
Blankenship will work to grow TUMI’s brokerage business by expanding distribution and carrier relationships, and hopes to grow TUMI’s marketplace presence.
