AAA Carolinas Insurance has launched new inland flooding protection for policyholders.
The Inland Flood Coverage is one of three new enhancements offered by AAA Carolinas Insurance, headquartered in Charlotte, N.C. Home Systems Protection and Service Line Coverage have also been launched and are available on any homeowner’s policy.
Details of the new coverages include:
- Inland Flood includes protection for common flood exposures in low to moderate flood risk areas in the event of unexpected flooding. Offered by AAA Insurance, provides homeoweners protection from flood in inland areas without having to buy coverage from the NFIP and is available starting at about $21 a year.
- Home Systems Protection provides protection to the systems and appliances in the home such as HVACs, refrigerators, washers/dryers, wells/sump pumps and pools/spa equipment.
- Service Line coverage can help with the cost of damage to exterior underground piping and wiring, offering a way to eliminate gaps in coverage while including things like excavation costs and loss of use.
