AmWINS Brokerage of Georgia has added Alex Furlong, an energy and environmental specialist, to its casualty team. He will be based in Atlanta.
Prior to joining AmWINS, Furlong spent several years as a casualty producer at All Risks, Ltd. Before beginning his insurance career at All Risks, Furlong served eight years in the U.S. Army as an Infantry Officer and Special Forces Commander, serving tours in Afghanistan and various locations throughout Southeast Asia.
Heath Cunningham, executive vice president, Casualty at AmWINS Brokerage of Georgia, said Furlong will join the team as it expands and diversifies its casualty footprint.
