It is too bad all the states are not on board with banning cell use while driving. They should also ban texting while walking to cut down on pedestrian injuries and deaths. It is an epidemic and people are so distracted, they must be doing it at all times.
I don’t think it’s wise to have a COMPLETE ban on cell use while driving — I use mine for navigation and it’s MUCH safer than using the old-school folding maps! As for other states, I’ll just leave this here…
As a new Florida resident, having moved from Canada I am completely blown away. It is anarchy and chaos on the roads; signalling doesn’t seem to exist in Tampa and texting while driving is incredibly common. I have witnessed numerous people taking video calls also while driving. It truly makes Florida (the USA) seem like a third world country. How many more deaths or accidents will it take to get a grip on this. Shame on the government for allowing this to happen so blatantly.

Really? In our area of Florida, it’s the Canadians that cause all the traffic problems. So nice to see them go back home.
