Florida Insurer American Integrity Appoints Dowd as EVP

American Integrity has appointed industry veteran Dick Dowd as executive vice president.

Dowd will report to Bob Ritchie, president and CEO, and be responsible for all sales and marketing staff and initiatives. He will spearhead initiatives that further augment the company’s foundation and drive growth, brand presence and market share. In this role, he will also work closely with the CEO and COO on the company’s overall strategy and execution.

Dowd has experience in personal, commercial, standard and specialty insurance lines of business, most recently, serving as senior vice president of Aegis General, where he led the expansion of top and bottom line growth, expanding the company’s geographic, product and distribution footprint from 11 to 35 states. Dowd also served in an executive capacity at Munich Re’s American Modern Insurance Group, where he led company sales and marketing initiatives.

Dowd has worked in Florida’s property insurance market for both national and regional carriers serving Florida’s homeowners. He has assumed responsibility for the company’s field sales, internal sales, marketing and agency management teams. He will work to help employees further deepen American Integrity’s partnerships with preferred independent agency partners, and increase the company’s footprint and brand awareness throughout Florida.
