Southern Insurance Underwriters (SIU) has added Patti Stuczynski to its Workers’ Compensation underwriting team. Stuczynksi will be responsible for underwriting new and renewal business while being a vital part of the program’s development. She will be based in Alpharetta, Ga.

Stuczynski joins the workers’ compensation team with more than 30 years of insurance industry experience. She has held various positions in the workers’ compensation field and has contributed to all almost all roles in the workers’ compensation industry including state regulations, auditing, underwriting, marketing and business development.
According to Jonathan Maloney, program practice manager – workers’ compensation, SIU launched its workers’ compensation program back in April of 2019 and has seen enormous growth.
Established in 1964 by W.C. Duesenberg, SIU primarily wrote non-standard automobile, taxi cabs and local/long haul trucks. Today, SIU and other affiliated companies under the parent company, Southern Insurance Companies, remains family-owned and operated. SIU offers a range of products and markets to over 3,000 independent insurance agents, including personal auto, personal property, workers’ compensation, commercial transportation and commercial property and casualty.
