As many as 30 vehicles were damaged when they hit a pothole that opened up in the center lane of Interstate 4 near Orlando on Tuesday night, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Troopers and officers from other agencies responded to the call, and blocked the center and right lanes until the hole was fixed early Wednesday, the agency said.
WFTV reports crews also worked to change flattened tires and clear the road near Longwood.
The agency said no crashes were reported. The road has reopened.
