Very funny. Any idea what will happen to “The Hearth” HO and Auto program the parent company also owns and operates?

Since they are just renting State National paper as an easy way to describe the operation, I’d say they’ll be around as long as State National allows the program to continue.

I hope no agent in their right mind will continue to bind policies with WindHaven

I’m unclear. Is the Hearth HO written on State National paper but Windhaven auto was on their own paper not rated by Best? Otherwise those unpaid claims checks should be the responsibility of the fronter

What is the Florida Dept doing for us the agents who wrote thru “The Hearth Grp.” and are out of $30,000 of commissions. We the agents have rights just like the insureds.

Unfortunately we come last. The claims must be paid, the employees that are left must be paid, the insureds need to be reimbursed and then if there’s any money left we can make a claim to get paid (Good Luck). Best thing to do is buckle your boot straps and start switching customers ASAP. 2020 Didn’t start well for a lot of agencies.

Windahven just renewed my six month policy in february. Does anyone know if I am able to recoup the funds taken out of my banking account? And if there is an insurance company willing to take Windhaven customers?

Unfortunately the only way to recover any money is to file it through the Florida Dept of financial services. Any claim comes with a $100 deductible. Call 3056003734 for some insurance quotes and information to were you can file your claim for fund recovery with WindHaven.
