Marsh & McLennan Agency LLC (MMA), the middle market subsidiary of Marsh, has appointed Peter Krause as Southeast Regional CEO, effective immediately.
In this role, Krause will oversee MMA’s offices in Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Tallahassee, Florida. He reports to David Eslick, chairman and CEO of MMA.
Krause has more than 30 years of insurance underwriting, marketing, and management. He most recently served as president of MMA’s Southeast region. Prior to that, he served as senior vice president, managing director, and marketing manager of J. Smith Lanier & Co.
Krause will continue to be based in Atlanta and succeeds Gary Ivey who will continue as an advisor to MMA Southeast throughout the remainder of 2020.
