Ironshore Environmental has named Kelly Killimett to lead its newly established wholesale team. Killimett will be responsible for developing and executing an integrated underwriting and sales strategy dedicated to serving wholesale brokerages in the United States.
Killimett will be based in Atlanta, reporting to Toby Smith, president of Ironshore Environmental.
Killimett has more than 15 years of environmental underwriting experience with a focus on wholesale distribution. Over the past eight years she has served in various leadership roles at Argo Group, most recently as head of the environmental business unit.
Killimett began her underwriting career with a retail insurance agency offering commercial lines coverages.
Ironshore Environmental offers a suite of insurance products and services to protect against the adverse financial impact of environmental incidents and liabilities for a range of commercial industry risks.
Ironshore, a Liberty Mutual Company, provides broker-sourced specialty property and casualty insurance coverages for varying risks.
