Berkshire Hathaway GUARD Insurance Companies has added Georgia to the list of states where it company offers its Accountants Professional Liability policy. Georgia is now the sixth state that the insurer offers this product to go along with Arizona, Illinois, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Texas.
According to Lyle Hitt, chief insurance officer, the Accountants Professional Liability product is targeted toward CPA firms with up to $10 million annual revenue with larger firms considered on a case-by-case basis. The product features limits up to $3 million per claim and deductibles starting as low as $500.
Full Prior Acts coverage, subpoena assistance, and defense of third-party discrimination as well as other optional additional add-ons, are also available.
Premium discounts are available for continuous years insured with the company, use of engagement letters, and recent peer reviews.
