Builders Insurance Group, an Atlanta-based provider of workers’ compensation, liability and property insurance for businesses, has announced two new executives.
Antonio Barner was named chief operating officer and senior vice president of strategy. Brent Johnson is the new vice president of reinsurance and specialty business, Builders said in a news release.
Barner will lead development of an enhanced operating platform, optimizing processes and workflow, as well as professional development and corporate strategy. Barner was previously chief business development and strategy officer for Accredited Surety & Casualty Co.
Johnson, who also was previously at Accredited, will lead Builders’ new reinsurance and specialty lines, the company said.
Founded in 1992, Builders has 160 employees and $1 billion in assets, the company said.
