Amwins, an international distributor of specialty insurance products, has purchased Atlanta-based Arena Special Risks’ wholesale business from Franklin Street.
The move will allow Franklin Street to concentrate on retail insurance for the real estate market, the company said in a news release. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Based in Charlotte, Amwins is one of the largest wholesale distributors of specialty insurance products, including P/C insurance, group benefits and administrative services, through independent agents.
Franklin Street is headquartered in Tampa and has offices in a number of U.S. cities.
