Global insurance broker NFP announced it has acquired Benefits & Co., the Florida benefits business of Clearscope, a benefits services and software firm with offices in New York and New Jersey.
Based in Sunrise, Florida, Benefits & Co. is an employee benefits broker serving employer groups and individuals across Florida. It offers medical, dental, vision, long-term and short-term disability, group life, and flex spending plans.
The acquisition closed on August 8.
Benefits & Co.’s Jessica Gabe joins NFP and reports to Sarah Wollschleger, market leader for NFP’s benefits business in south Florida.
Bill Austin, managing director at NFP in south Florida, said the move aligns with NFP’s goal of expanding its business across Florida through organic growth and targeted acquisitions.
