King Insurance Partners, a brokerage headquartered in Gainesville, Florida, has continued its steady growth with the acquisition of Thetford Insurance Services in Tennessee and Kentucky.
Thetford, a boutique firm based in Nashville, was founded in 1992 by John Thetford Sr. and John Thetford Jr., the companies said in a news release. The firm offers auto, home, life, farm, renters, flood and a range of business coverage plans. It also offers insurance for “toys,” such as motorcycles, ATVs and watercraft, according to Thetford’s website.
King was founded in 1974 and has grown significantly in recent months, through a number of acquisitions. Chad King is the owner.
