Lawley, a family owned insurance brokerage and benefits firm, has expanded into Florida through a merger with Tampa-based Professional Insurance Services.
It’s the first Florida location for the Buffalo, New York-based Lawley, but its 18th in the United States. Lawley now has some 600 associates around the country, the firm said in a news release.
“Florida has been on Lawley’s radar for expansion for some time as our client base continues to expand their presence in the state of Florida,” said Lawley Principal Christopher Ross.
Professional Insurance Services and its 20 employees will now operate under the Lawley name. The Tampa agency has been led by CEO Jason Levy. It offers home, auto, flood, renters’ insurance, along with commercial lines, including general liability, workers’ compensation and commercial auto products.
