Higginbotham, ranked as one of the top-20 largest independent insurance brokerages in the U.S., has continued its growth with the addition of Charter Energy, a specialty insurance brokerage in Atlanta.
Charter was founded in 1986 by Pete Lunati and is now led by Marsh Lunati. The firm remains focused on the energy sector, heavy industry and construction, as well as private equity, transaction liability and surety, the companies said in a news release.
Higginbotham is headquartered in Fort Worth and has offices across the country.
