Georgia Farm Bureau announced that Gary Willis, who recently served as executive director of insurance operations, is the general manager for the bureau’s insurance corporation.

Willis takes over for George Monk, who retired Jan. 2, GFB said in news release.
A native of Lowndes County, Georgia, Willis graduated from Valdosta State University. He had previously worked as senior director of claims at GFB.
Miami-headquartered Algorithmic Insurance Services, known as LIRG, named Orla Roche chief marketing officer, based in Florida.

Roche previously worked at Vitamin Energy. She may be familiar to sports fans, having appeared in two Super Bowl commercials for a cruise line, LIRG explained. She will now lead global marketing efforts, including LIRG’s new podcast, the company said in a statement.
LIRG is a specialty reinsurance brokerage and risk advisory platform that focuses on parametric, structured and alternative risk transfer options. Mark Groenheide is founder and CEO.
