Eight years after it began operations and three months after going public, Orion180 Insurance Group has continued its growth trajectory with the opening of a new corporate headquarters in Melbourne, Florida.
The 40,000-square-foot office includes a gym, patio, dining area and gathering spots, the company announced.
“Orion180 has grown tremendously in just a few years, and our new headquarters reflects both how far we’ve come and our ambitions for the future,” Ken Gregg, founder and CEO, said in a statement.
Orion180, which launched in 2016 and began business in 2018, has reached a number of milestones in recent years. The tech-focused firm said it is now the second-largest excess and surplus homeowners’ insurance company in the country. It also has an admitted company domiciled in Indiana, and a managing general agent.
The group also has an office in Irving, Texas, and a service center in Salt Lake City. In September, Orion180 (OIG on the Nasdaq exchange) filed for an initial public offering, raising more than $240 million. It was valued at $1.14 billion after shares fell in the stock’s debut Sept. 18, Reuters and Bloomberg news services reported. Shares were trading at about $10.19 on Monday, down from the initial high of $11.90 but up from a low of $7.78 in early October.
Orion180 will host a conference call Tuesday, Nov. 10, to discuss its third-quarter financial results.
