WebTradeInsure recently began offering E-marketplace Internet fraud protection insurance for online auction purchases.
In doing so, the La Jolla, Calif.-based company has achieved the distinction of founding a new niche in the insurance marketplace.
The insurance has a $25 deductible and can cost as little as $2.95. In addition, WebTradeInsure announced its intention to market the fraud protection coverage in partnership with auction websites.
Also offered is shipping insurance, designed for commercial clients, to provide compensation in the event that items are damaged upon arrival to the buyer.
